Wine patches - C programming
2008 to 2009 - Contribution StatisticsI have submitted patches (and had them accepted) into the WINE project. Most of my patches have been stubbed implementations for functions in the xinput library.
Getting patches into the wine project can be quite difficult because of how strict they are on correctness. In doing so I think it helped me to become better at programming.
Hardwar - C++ game programming
2008 to now - Game‘s blogThe game "Hardwar" is an open source remake of the classic game (also called Hardwar) that I work on in my spare time. The reason behind the creation of this project happened after a long campaign I ran on an attempt to gain the source code to the old game.
I was able to track down the original developer of the game and he also had a copy of the source code. Sadly however there are copyright issues in distribution of the source code. After numerous efforts to track down the copyright owners it has been concluded that it would be best to start from scratch.
The game is built in c++. It uses the Ogre3D engine, Boost Threads and Enet.
Pro Clan Manager - HTML / PHP / MySQL
2002 to now - Project WebsiteI started this open source project in 2002 while I was still in highschool. The project has been translated into three different languages so far and the community around the project is still growing.
While working on Pro Clan Manager I have met many interesting people that have wanted to contribute to it.
